I met James Burkett this weekend at LB's Jam in Georgia and got to fondle one of his beauties. Maple / Adi J185 rendition with an eye popping burst (I am so envious of his burst). He was such a delight to spend some time with and share lutherie ideas. Thanks for the experience (& the bone nut blank) James!

Tim sounds like you had a`good time at LB's. James helped me with bracing patterns and sunburst advice when I built my first L-00 and I'll never forget that. Super nice guy and very super bursts.

I really had a blast at the jam. It was great getting talk a little shop with Tim. I also enjoyed playing all those McKnight guitars. Very nice. The side ports are very effective. I may have to get an auger and do a factory recall on all the Burkett guitars.

Bob, I hope I was able to help a little. That was a long time ago as I recall.
